Our plain, alphabetical lists of places to eat inside Manassas city limits: wings, pizza, Mexican, burgers, Asian, breakfast, desserts, bakeries and patios.
Last checked 2026-10-23. Refreshed every three months.
Manassas’s places to eat gather in four areas: the few blocks of Historic Downtown Manassas around the train depot, the shopping centers along Liberia Avenue, Sudley and Centreville roads in the north end, and the Wellington Road and Dumfries Road corridor in the south end. Each list below covers one kind of food, every place we could confirm inside the city limits, in alphabetical order.
How we made these lists. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Manassas city limits, the same records that feed our local directory, checked against each place’s own website. Where a place has no website, we name the official source that confirms it is open: the Virginia Department of Health’s inspection records or the Historic Manassas Inc. dining directory. No list is a ranking or a recommendation, nobody paid to be on one, and we print no prices or reviews. Places can write to us to correct an entry.
The lists
Where to get wings. Nine places whose own menus name wings, from three downtown restaurants to a sports grill on Liberia Avenue and pizza chains on Sudley, Centreville and Dumfries roads.
Where to get pizza. Ten pizza places, three of them downtown on Battle and Center streets and the rest along Liberia Avenue, Sudley Road and the Dumfries Road area.
Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants. Eight places, two downtown, two on Mathis Avenue and the rest along Liberia Avenue and Wellington and Dumfries roads. Several have no website, so the list names their official source.
Where to get burgers. Seven places with burgers on their menus, including a burger restaurant by the train depot, a 1950s-style diner on Sudley Road and two Wendy’s.
Sushi and Asian restaurants. Seven Chinese, Thai, Indian and Korean-fusion restaurants, downtown and in the south end. We found no sushi bar inside the city limits.
Breakfast and coffee. Ten places for an early start: four downtown, two diners on Sudley Road, three Starbucks and a doughnut shop.
Ice cream and desserts. Six stops, three of them downtown, plus a seasonal soft-serve stand on Mathis Avenue that closes for the winter in early December.
Bakeries. Four bakeries: an allergy-friendly shop on Main Street, a Mexican bakery cafe on Dumfries Road, a pastry shop on Grant Avenue and a doughnut shop on Liberia Avenue.
Patios and outdoor dining. Six restaurants whose own sites mention a patio, a yard or a rooftop, four of them on one block of Battle Street.
