Four bakeries inside Manassas city limits: an allergy-friendly shop downtown, a Mexican bakery cafe, a pastry shop on Grant Avenue and a doughnut shop.

Last checked 2026-10-23. Refreshed every three months.

Manassas has four bakeries inside the city limits, and they are spread out: one on Main Street in Historic Downtown Manassas, a Mexican bakery cafe on Dumfries Road in the south end, a pastry shop on Grant Avenue and a doughnut shop on Liberia Avenue. Some bakeries with a Manassas mailing address, such as Cakes by Happy Eatery across Liberia Avenue, are just outside the city limits.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Manassas city limits, the same records that feed our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on 2026-10-23. La Jarochita has no website of its own; we kept it because the Virginia Department of Health’s inspection records list it at this address. The list is alphabetical; it is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Hours are copied from each place’s own site. If your entry is wrong, write to us.

The places

Krispy Kreme. The doughnut and coffee chain’s shop on Liberia Avenue, with a drive-thru. It opens at 6 a.m. every day.

La Flor de Puebla Bakery Cafe. A family-run Mexican bakery cafe on Dumfries Road with a second shop in Woodbridge. Its site says the family’s bakeries began in New Jersey in 1993 and that it keeps baking Mexican sweet bread. Its bread list runs from Salvadoran quesadilla and cemita to roscas, and it takes custom cake orders in flavors such as tres leches, red velvet and chocolate mousse. It also serves a cafe menu of enchiladas, tortas and tacos.

La Jarochita. A shop on Grant Avenue with no website of its own. OpenStreetMap lists it as a pastelería and carnicería (a pastry shop and butcher), and the state health department’s records list it as La Jarochita #2 at 9612 Grant Ave., inspected in December 2025.

The Lemonade Bakery. A bakery on Main Street downtown whose cakes, cupcakes and cookies are peanut, tree nut and egg free, always. Its site takes custom and wedding cake orders with at least four days’ notice, for pickup at the shop from 10 a.m. or delivery. Its Historic Manassas Inc. listing says it can also work around soy and dairy allergies on request.
