The places

Battle Street Bistro. A downtown restaurant run by a husband-and-wife team, who also own a cafe in Occoquan, that bills itself as a rooftop restaurant and bar. It serves brunch, lunch and dinner, with brunch from 9 a.m. on weekends, and takes call-ahead orders.

Glory Days Grill. A sports grill on Liberia Avenue, the one place on this list outside downtown. Its Manassas page says a patio is available, and its menu runs from wings and burgers to entrees.

Monza. A casual bar and restaurant on Battle Street that invites guests to sit out on its patio and yard. Its menu includes brick oven pizza, homemade pastas, salads and sandwiches, with live music on Friday and Saturday nights in the summer, weather permitting.

Public House Kitchen and Brewery. A brewpub on Battle Street that brews its own beer and describes itself as a laid-back hangout with American food and spacious patio dining. It serves a Sunday brunch menu and takes private event requests.

The Bone. A barbecue restaurant next to the train station that says it has a comfortable patio. It smokes its meats over hickory and oak and serves them with scratch-made sides, six days a week.

Zandra’s Taqueria. A taco restaurant on Center Street that says it has an outdoor rooftop bar in Manassas and serves mojitos and margaritas. It is open every day for dine-in and carryout.
