The places
Battle Street Bistro. A bistro in Old Town that opens at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday and posts a brunch menu, a lunch and dinner menu and an early bird menu. It says it is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Bob and Edith’s Diner. The Northern Virginia diner group’s Manassas Corner location on Sudley Road, open 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day. Its menus include breakfast and around-the-clock specials.
Grounds Central Station. A coffee roaster and full-service coffee shop on Main Street that serves all-day breakfast and lunch. It also runs a mobile coffee trailer and event coffee carts, and has a happy hour every day from 3 to 6 p.m.
Jirani Coffeehouse. A coffeehouse on West Street in Old Town that roasts its own beans. Its kitchen keeps shorter hours than the shop and closes at 1 or 2 p.m., depending on the day.
Juke Box Diner. A diner on Sudley Road that opens at 7 a.m. daily. Its breakfast menu has omelets, pancakes, waffles and French toast.
Krispy Kreme. The doughnut and coffee chain’s shop on Liberia Avenue, with a drive-thru that closes a little earlier than the shop.
Starbucks. The coffee chain has three stores inside the city: Canterbury Village on Sudley Road, Liberia Avenue and Manassas Junction on Centreville Road. Hours are from the company’s store locator.
The Omelette Cafe. A cafe on Center Street, listed in the Historic Manassas Inc. dining directory under American. We found no website of its own.
