Stonewall Park Pool’s last weekends
The pool, 8300 Stonewall Road, drops to weekends only in mid-August. In 2026 it was open weekends from Aug. 17 to Sept. 6, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and closed for the season after Labor Day, Sept. 7. Admission is $7, or $3.75 after 4 p.m.; children under 3 are free.
In 2025 the city followed the last day with a Dog-o-pool-ooza on Friday, Sept. 5, from 4 to 6 p.m., according to the September 2025 City Connection.

- Historic Manassas Farmers Market: Thursdays at the Harris Pavilion and Saturdays in the Water Tower lot, 9116 Prince William St., 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Manassas National Battlefield Park: free trails and the Henry Hill Visitor Center, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Harris Pavilion concerts: the Summer Sounds series ran into September in 2026, with Acoustic Tuesdays on Sept. 1 and 8.
A note on First Friday
Historic Manassas Inc.’s First Friday falls on Labor Day weekend. After a 16-year-old was killed in gunfire during the Sept. 4, 2026, First Friday, the city and HMI paused the October event and began reviewing evening events, according to the October 2026 City Connection.
