State report card

Virginia rates schools two ways. Accreditation means a school “submitted all required evidence to the Department of Education as prescribed in the Standards of Accreditation,” in the words of the state profile. The School Performance and Support Framework gives each school a score and one of four performance levels: Distinguished, Meets Expectations, Approaching Expectations and Needs Intensive Support.

  • Accreditation: Fully Accredited, the state’s designation for the 2025-26 school year.
  • Framework score: 81.8, performance level Approaching Expectations, in the state’s division summary.
  • Federal accountability: the profile lists Osbourn as “Identified for Targeted Support and Improvement” based on 2025-26 data, a label tied to the results of individual student groups.
  • On-time graduation: 88%. Of 599 students in the 2025-26 cohort, 525 graduated on time; 188 earned an advanced diploma and 335 a standard diploma, and 64 dropped out.

Standards of Learning pass rates (share of tested students who passed, all tests in the subject):

Subject 2023-24 2024-25 2025-26 Virginia, 2025-26
English reading 61% 62% 61% 74%
Math 60% 70% 64% 73%
Science 47% 48% 42% 71%

Advanced Placement course enrollment rose to 665 students, 29% of the school, in 2025-26, from 237 in 2023-24; 416 students took an AP exam. Another 318 took dual enrollment classes and 17 attended a Governor’s School, the profile shows.

Attendance zone and feeder schools

The zone stops at the city line. Many homes with a Manassas mailing address are in Prince William County, which runs its own schools. To confirm an address, enter it in WebQuery and choose the grade.
