Last checked Oct. 19, 2026. This page is updated each year at the same address. Easter 2027 is more than 6 weeks away, so this page says which year each date is from and never guesses a new one. Sources: the City of Manassas City Connection, restaurants’ own websites and All Saints Catholic Church.
Easter is Sunday, March 28, 2027, a week earlier than in 2026. Manassas has two regular spring events for children: the city’s Spring EGGStravaganza at the community center and Lunch with the Easter Bunny at the volunteer fire station. The city’s 2026 EGGStravaganza was Sat. April 4; 2027 dates are not out yet. Questions: Parks, Culture and Recreation, 703-368-1873.
What this means for you
- Plan around spring break: MCPS is off March 29 to April 2, 2027, right after Easter.
- Egg hunts fill up: watch the city’s RecDesk program list from early March.
- Brunch: book ahead; we list Easter menus only when a restaurant posts one.
Egg hunts and Easter Bunny visits
| Event | 2026 date (latest) | Where | 2027 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lunch with the Easter Bunny | Sat. March 21, 2026, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. | Manassas Volunteer Fire Company station, 9322 Centreville Road | Not announced |
| Spring EGGStravaganza | Sat. April 4, 2026, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. | City of Manassas Community Center, 8750 Sudley Road | Not announced |
Both were listed on the city’s March and April 2026 calendars in the City Connection. The community center, beside Marsteller Park, opened with a ribbon cutting in October 2025, so 2026 was its first spring. We will add age groups, start times and any registration link when the city posts the 2027 events.
