New registrations with the state
The Virginia State Corporation Commission’s weekly business entity file lists 122 new LLCs and corporations with a principal office in ZIP 20110 registered in the seven weeks from Aug. 24 to Oct. 11, 2026, between 13 and 23 a week. Nearly all are LLCs. In September alone, 85 were registered. A registration is a legal filing, not a storefront: many are contractors, consultants and home-based firms, and ZIP 20110 includes some addresses just outside the city.
